Track Your Delvery

The Business to Consumer Problem

A business to consumer delivery is not your ‘A Typical’ delivery and the majority of transport companies have not yet perfected this area.

It’s not a normal delivery

End consumers are still treated like a business and are ultimately expected to understand transit times around a delivery.

How are you being viewed?

When the transport company is a direct representation on your business a bad experience can damage your brand and ultimately cause issues with consumer loyalty.

What you need to do

Partner with a company that actually understands the importance of a positive delivery experience: ensuring longer lasting loyalty off your consumers.

Total Freight Solution

We manage carrier selection, full integration, complete customer service and consumer tracking notifications.

Preferred network

By using existing networks of freight providers we come up with a transport solution that satisfies almost every customers need.

OpenFreight Software

OpenFreight is an online multicarrier freight platform that enables a business to have a single product/system for all employees to use surrounding their freight. The system has been specifically designed to suit Warehouse/Despatch teams, Administration employees, Sales staff and even Customer Service Officers.

OpenFreight partners with Neto, Wise and ReadytoShip and can be integrated with most Accounting (ERP) and Warehouse Management (WMS) Packages.

B2C Tracking

One of the most important parts, yet overlooked by most carriers, is the ability for your receiver to track and trace their own freight.

EcomFreight developed a purpose built track and trace page for your receivers called B2CTracking. Every time a consignment leaves your warehouse your customer will be capable of tracking their consignment throughout its journey.

Find answers to common home delivery questions:

  • How long does a delivery normally take?
Depending on where the item was picked up, deliveries can take anywhere from 5 days up to 10 days – especially to remote destinations. If you need to know how long until your item will be delivered, click on this link www.b2ctracking.com.au and enter your consignment note number. The system will provide you with an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).

  • What time of the day will my item be delivered?
Most transport companies will provide a delivery between 9am and 5pm. Some transport companies will call before but this is not always the case. So don’t be worried that you may have missed the delivery. You can check for an update on your delivery by clicking on www.b2ctracking.com.au and entering your consignment note number.

  • If I’m not home, will the driver deliver my freight?
No. Unless otherwise instructed to (See ‘What is an ATL?’) drivers will not leave freight unattended. Most of the time, a card will be left with the transport companies details and a phone number for you to contact to re-organise a delivery.

  • I missed my delivery. What should I do?
If you received a card informing you that you have ‘missed a delivery’ you need to contact the transport company using the details provided on the card. You can then reorganise a delivery. You do not need to call the company you purchased the item from.

  • What is an ATL?
An ATL (Authorised to Leave) is something the company you purchased your item through has instructed the transport company to do. Basically, the sending company is aware the receiver may not be home, so with the purpose of ensuring a delivery occurs, the transport company has been authorised to leave the item safe.

Sometimes, the premises makes it’s impossible for a transport company to do this. So if this is the case, the driver would have left a card with details of what you need to do next (see ‘I missed my delivery. What should I do?’)

  • Who delivers my package?
Our customers use multiple freight companies that all specialise in a range of product sizes and delivery destinations. But at the end of the day they’ve chosen a provider best suited to your delivery. To find out an update on your delivery, click on www.b2ctracking.com.au and entering your consignment note number.

  • Why’s it so hard to deliver to a home?
Almost all transport companies are picking up and delivering around busy retail and commercial areas. A home or private address delivery is outside of these normal runs which makes it extremely difficult to factor the residential delivery into a normal run.

Using the right carriers that specialise in residential deliveries increases the chance of your item being delivered.
